When I came up with this project I was willing to find an alternative way to portray a person. Instead of taking a picture of the whole body I focused on some peculiar details and then I combined them in an unusual yet symmetrical way that destructures the body and centers the viewer's attention on the single body part instead of the whole person. I particularly like how the close-up attachment maintains the right proportions between the various parts of the body, parts which seem disproportioned when moved unnaturally close one to the other.
