"When flash is not in use, please remove one of the batteries from the compartment to safe battery life."
Too bad... It costs 70€, and they couldn't add a "On/Off" switch?

Truely Awesome!

This is a MUST for all SX-70's! as soon as I attatched It to my SX-70 Sonar OneStep, I died.... IT JUST LOOKED SO AMAZING! but anyway, I tested It with some old Expired 600 film from a thrift store + an ND Filter, and It made my X-Mas Tree look awesome! no more need for a tripod! (thank god!) I REALLY hate those long exposures, unless you want a neat looking double-ish exposure!

A Big Piece Of The Puzzle
|
|

This is the key to making every film work it's absolute best in any folding SX-70 camera. The flash seems to resolve so many light issues, regardless of whether you're shooting 70/100 or 680/600. The instructions are a little vague, but if you stare at them for a while and do a little experimenting, you'll quickly feel it out for your particular camera. A word of advice- use good quality photo batteries for the best performance. Don't be a cheapskate! Try the value-brand batteries and you'll see what I mean. All we need now is a proper case to accommodate a Sonar OneStep and the flash and it'll be a perfect package! If you like to take your cameras nearly everywhere you go and shoot practically anything, you really need this.

A must have

If own a SX-70, you MUST have this. It works greatly, above all expectations and indoors photos are amazing. The instuctions inside are a bit tricky but for best result you have to set the switch on the black circle and you'll have perfect shots.

this is really awesome and i've purchased for the combo of 3X PX-70 films. but still i have a little question with the button at the back of the flash. what do the three choices which are indicated as a circle, a half-painted circle and a black dot mean respectively? full power, half power and shut down?

Explanations

Awesome flash!
but it requires some training or more explanations from impossible of how to set the exposure wheel when the flash is used with PX-70 film
I still didn't figure out the proper setting of the wheel
Please impossible, tell us! :)
Also the small size is awesome! but its sliiighlty bigger than the original flashbar, so it -wont- fit in the original SX-70 bag in the "flashbar strap holders"

shooting px 70 film with production date pre 12/11 please set the lighten/darken setting 2/3 towards darken. with neutral setting your images will get a yellowish tint. when using px 70 with a production date 12/11 or later please use the neutral setting.
