    Not worth $55...

There are 5 packs that come in the bag, 3 being color and 2 being the silver shade. Out of the 3 color shade packs (24 photos total), only 3 out of the 24 photos produced visible photographs. With the silver shade packs, I've only used 1 pack so far which actually turned out much better than the color shade and all of the 8 photos are visible. I'm not here to complain about the quality of the images whatsoever since I intentionally bought the photos knowing there would be unpredictable results. But, knowing what I know now, I would've invested the $55 in photos that I know would work. Some sample photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/80161815@N07/8272486633/in/photostream/lightbox/

Is just got the bag, and tried one film. So far, it´s exactly what I was looking for! The flaws are really exciting. Christmas came early this year:)

    totally worth the gamble

I bought the old generation film bag totally expecting to have a bunch of bad film, i mean its a gamble, they tell you right up front. This isnt the stuff you bring to your only daughters wedding day...or is it? The majority of my color film was almost entirely exposed..but still got 2 or three really interesting shots. The silvershade was aged beautifully! This bag is great if youre willing to take a gamble, youre garunteed to gets at least a couple really interesting photos out of the 50-100 you buy..which lets be honest is how all photography is anyways.

Hi Bobby, As is noted on the product page, the film in the Old Generation film bags should not be expected to produce the same results that fresh film would. However, if you are having continued difficulty, you can send a message to usa@theimpossibleproject.com along with scans of the defective images and someone will assist you.

    Disappointed

I was looking forward to trying my luck with an old generation bag after reading so many positive reviews, but unfortunately I have not had good experiences with this film. About half the shots had severe defects and did not develop at all, many others have very faint and barely decipherable images. I've tried a variety of exposure settings and conditions but haven't been able to get a decent shot out of 3 packs so far. Hopefully I'll have better luck with the last two?

    Great, in an artistic way

I'm glad I bought these film bags. I already tested some filmpacks of my first order (40% color, 60% BW). They just work fine, the way some films don't develop 100% correctly just completes the instant experience. I just ordered 2 more bags before they are gone. Thank you Impossible Project!
