  • Development: 20 - 30 minutes approximately at 70°F (21°C)
  • Battery: Built in, long lasting battery to power up the camera and flash
  • For long lasting premium results store unopened film packs in the fridge around 5-10°C / 41-50°F

  • Shield the Picture from light
  • As the camera ejects the picture, do IMMEDIATELY shield it from light (e.g. with your hand, a darkslide, shoot into a box, etc...) - the first half second is crucial! See also this tutorial video box type cameras / tutorial video folding cameras

  • Let the image then develop upside down/shielded from light for up to 4 minutes. Total development time of the image will be around 10 - 20 minutes.

  • PX 70 Color Shade Cool is balanced for daylight and flash exposure. Each single pack contains 8 exposures.

    I used one pack and felt the novelty wore off after the first couple of shots. Really depends on the subject. If 'creative' and 'different' is what you want from this type of film, then maybe produce with different animal heads, or mix up the location of the ape head on the film itself. If honest, it did not really compliment what would otherwise have been a couple of delightful shots. Yet, had I know the outcome I would have chosen a subject such as clouds, or something with a little more natural drama
