Analog love makes you do crazy things: back in 2009 we preserved that last original Polaroid 8x10 film production machinery without really knowing whether we'd ever be able to actually manufacture new film with it. For the last few months we devoted a large part of our time and passion to the reinvention of the legendary 8x10 instant film format. As you may already have learned from the NYT Lens Blog, it is today that we are proudly introducing a new, astonishing instant film for your 8x10 camera.
PQ 8x10 SILVER SHADE
NEW LARGE FORMAT INSTANT FILM
Unlike traditional Polaroid peel apart 8x10 film, the new PQ 8x10 Silver Shade film is an INTEGRAL instant film. The basis of this film is our Silver Shade material with a film speed of 640 ASA. One pack contains 10 negatives and 10 positives to be shot in 8x10 cameras using the original Polaroid 8x10 holder and processor.

Keep your film refrigerate until you're ready to shoot it and keep the processed image in the dark of the processor for 4 minutes. To stop further development and stabilize your photos dry them thoroughly.

To avoid further development and alterations, dry your photo by either peeling it apart or storing it in the 8x10 Dry Age kit - available starting September 24.
