EDWIN H. LAND'S
ESSAYS
PRESERVED AND PRESENTED
BY IMPOSSIBLE
Dr. Edwin H. Land was an inventor and scientist years ahead of his time, solving problems that were regarded as unsolvable, inventing revolutionary tools that became state of the art and founding Polaroid which became one of the most iconic and successful companies in history. Edwin H. Land was an inspiration to many and he is also the invisible animating spirit behind the Impossible Project.
AN EXCLUSIVE
2-BOOK, 3-VOLUME SET
FULL OF LAND'S INGENIOUS WRITING
Edwin Land wanted his scientific work to be his true legacy and his ingenious essays on his inventions and ideas were published back in 1993 by the Society for Imaging Science and Technology in two hardbound books. They were edited by Mary McCann, who worked at Polaroid for more than three decades and were authorized by Edwin Land's wife, Terre.
With the help of Christopher Bonanos, author of the book INSTANT: THE STORY OF POLAROID, we have preserved these books and are proud to make them now available worldwide. This is the only complete edition of Land's published writing.
