The Basics
For all our customers who don't want to wait until our films are perfect but who are brave, strong and crazy enough to jump into the adventure now and to invest time and resources into helping us pave this Impossible analogue road, we are delighted to offer the Impossible Pioneer Card which brings several fabulous benefits. The Impossible Pioneer Program is only accessible to end-users who bought Impossible films (currently PX 100, PX 600, PZ 600 Silver Shade and PX 70 Color Shade) in the Impossible online shop as well as the Impossible Stores in Vienna and New York.
Pioneer Cards will be available to those who have purchased Impossible film in our online shop or our Vienna or NYC store during the period of March 22, 2010 and March 22, 2011. During this time, our first production runs and super new products may include a splendid portion of unpredictable results. As soon as the first year of Impossible’s film development and production has ended and Impossible's production team have had enough of time to optimize our films, no new Pioneer Cards will be issued.
The Impossible Pioneer Card is based on a dynamic point system: One Impossible film pack purchased in our online shop as well as the Impossible Stores in Vienna and New York credits 1 point. Online customers automatically collected these points with every processed and shipped online purchase of Impossible Instant Film and can check their status on their Pioneer Account. Impossible offline Store customers bring their receipts to the Impossible Stores, where an account will be created and purchased films credited with the according points.
The collection of points as well as the meeting of several requirements allow to achieve higher levels within the 3 levels of the Pioneer Card program: automatically starting on the Pioneer Level, there are two more levels to reach: the Land Level and the Impossible Level.
The Pioneer Level
Requirements:
- collect 10 points or more (one Impossible film pack purchased in our online shop credits 1 point)
- enroll in the Pioneer program by completing the online form on this page
Benefits:
- Free Pioneer Welcome package, including your personal Pioneer Card and detailed information about the Program
- An unlimited life long, 5% discount on all Impossible films purchased through the customer's account in the Impossible online shop. The discount will automatically be calculated and shown on the order summary before placing your online order of Impossible films.
- An unlimited life long, 5% discount on all Impossible films in all Impossible Project Stores (currently New York City and Vienna)
- Special Pioneer Card Holder Newsletter with exclusive information and access to special promotions / offers / special limited product editions
The Land Level
Requirements:
- collect 50 points or more (one Impossible film pack purchased in our online shop credits 1 point)
- upload 5 or more images taken on Impossible film onto the Picture Gallery on the AllAbout Silvershade or AllAbout Colorshade page using the upload tool in the "My Account" section on this page.
- share the Pioneer Spirit with 2 new companions
Benefits
The following are in addition to those rewarded by the Pioneer Level
- Increase of the life long discount on all Impossible film products from 5% to 10%. The discount will automatically be calculated and shown in the order summary before placing your online order of Impossible films.
- An unlimited life long, 10% discount on all Impossible films in all Impossible Project Stores (currently New York City and Vienna)
- Qualification for the exclusive Pioneer Test-User Program for testing and new film materials. Selected beta film versions will be provided for free in the course of Impossible product development
- Exclusive Priority access to limited stock promotions before sales opens to the public
- Access to Impossible’s exclusive SX 70 camera repair service, which will take care of your SX 70 camera for life
- Access and information to all Impossible worldwide Events
The Impossible Level
The requirements to reach the Impossible Level are admittedly nearly impossible to reach. But since we do believe in the Impossible and are ourselves eager to make it possible, we thought it would make sense to create this level - in order to spoil you with impossibly great rewards if you should be able to make the Impossible possible:
Requirements:
- collect 250 points or more (one Impossible film pack purchased in our online shop credits 1 point)
- upload 50 or more images taken on Impossible film onto the Picture Gallery on the AllAbout Silvershade or AllAbout Colorshade page using the upload tool in the "My Account" section on this page.
- share the Pioneer Spirit with 10 new companions
- visit our Impossible Stores in New York and Vienna
- purchase an original Polaroid Timer online (because we still have 2360 left)
Benefits
The following are in addition to those rewarded by the Pioneer and Land Levels
- A personal invitation from the Impossible founders for a personally guided tour at the Impossible factory in Enschede (NL), including accommodation and a handmade world famous cheese sandwich lunch. The first customer who enters the Impossible Level will furthermore be provided with transport.

Pioneer Program Terms & Conditions
General
Pioneer Cards will be issued to customers who meet the requirements listed above.
The Pioneer Card holders will then be entitled to the benefits listed above.
Customers can view their personal status in their Pioneer Account on www.the-impossible-project.com/pioneer
Pioneer Cards will be issued from July 25, 2010 - March 22, 2011.
Benefits for Pioneer Card holders are valid indefinitely, but may be subject to alterations.
Pioneer Cards are not available for resellers. If we have reason to believe that you are re-selling films purchased through the Pioneer Program, your account may be suspended.
The program, requirements and benefits of the Pioneer Card Program are as listed above. Additionally, the following apply:
Picture Gallery
To advance to higher levels within the program, Pioneer Card holders have to upload a certain amount of images taken on Impossible's new film materials onto the picture gallery on the All About Silvershade and All About Colorshade pages and provide the required information through the online form linked in the "My Account" section on this page.
To reach the Land Level, cardholders need to upload 5 or more images.
To reach the Impossible Level, cardholders need to upload 50 or more images.
All images will be checked before given release. Only after the release took place, the published images will be credited to the cardholder's Pioneer Account.
Share the Pioneer Spirit
The more we are the better. The more passionate people believe in the fascination of analog instant photography in our digitalized world, the more secured, better and brighter its future will be - share your Pioneer Spirit!
To advance to higher levels within the program, Pioneer Card holders have to recruit a certain amount of new Pioneer Spirits (= new customers to Impossible)
To reach the Land Level, card holders need to recruit 2 new customers.
To reach the Impossible Level, card holders need to recruit 8 additional new customers (for a total of 10 new customers altogether)
After proposing a new Pioneer by providing his e-mail address, an invitation e-mail with a direct link to a new account will be sent. Each address you enter will be validated immediately against our database to make sure it's new. All new e-mail addresses and therewith potential new customers will appear in your Pioneer account immediately, but will be grayed out to indicated that they do not yet count as a new companion. As soon as an order by the proposed companion has been processed and shipped, the new recruited companion will be counted in the cardholder's Pioneer Account. Orders placed by new Impossible customers from the same IP address as the Pioneer Account holder/referrer will not count. Impossible may also do additional background checks to prevent abuse of the system.
The Pioneer Card program is subject to alterations and Impossible may modify any terms and conditions with timely notice.
