Frog Tongue for 600 Cameras

The Impossible Frog Tongue is a newly designed device that easily attaches to all box-type Polaroid 600 and box-type SX-70 cameras and automatically shields Impossible instant pictures from light as they eject from the camera. This nifty device greatly improves the results you can achieve with the current Impossible instant films. We do not recommend to install the Impossible Frog Tongue into the folding type Polaroid One 600 models.

The Frog Tongue is also available in a larger version for Polaroid Image/ Spectra cameras.

Product Specifications
    The Impossible Frog Tongue works with box type Polaroid cameras (635, 645, OneStep, 1000, etc)
    We do not recommend to install the Impossible Frog Tongue into the folding type Polaroid One 600 models.
Carefully access the original frog tongue of your camera by removing the small plastic strip on top of the picture ejection slot (use a sharp object like a small screwdriver or the like). You will then be able to exchange the original frog tongue with the new longer Impossible frog tongue and to snap the plastic strip back into position.

All box-type 600 and box-type SX 70 cameras (636, 600 One Step, Model 1000, OneStep, etc)
It does not work with the the foldable Polaroid one 600 model or any foldable SX-70 models.

No need to pry off the faceplate from the outside like in the video. Open the film door and you will see 3 retention latches just behind the rollers. Push down on the center and pull up on the outer ones with a small screwdriver and the faceplate and tongue fall off easily. Prying it off may snap the faceplate or retention hooks.

It took a little patience 2 screwdrivers some string a knife and a frog tongue but finally my polaroid one600 photos are shielded from the sunlight!!!!!!!!!!!! photo on twitter as proof....@emmie0489

Brilliant and cheap, and installs in seconds. I thought I could get away with my own half-baked shielding solutions, but the Impossible frog tongue works far better than anything I cooked up, and entirely without thought or effort.

truly a great product. I also had to cut an extra hole to the frog tongue for my Polaroid Spirit, but that's easy peasy.
